Glendale Arts, is a private nonprofit 501(c)(3) performing arts organization, and was formed by the City of Glendale to manage the operations of the Alex Theatre. Since its beginning, Glendale Arts’ mission has evolved into one that works to grow the cultural identity of Glendale through the arts. Glendale Arts currently employs 16 full-time and up to 50 part-time staff members who are employed as stage technicians, house managers, custodians, security guards, box office ticket agents and administrative staff. In addition, over 100 volunteers provide thousands of hours of service each year in support of the Theatre’s programs and activities.

LOS ANGELES COUNTY ARTS COMMISSION SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
The Los Angeles County Arts Internship Program provides 10-week, full-time paid summer internships to eligible undergraduate college students.

2018 Arts Internship positions will be open to currently enrolled undergraduate (2 or 4-year) college students who reside or attend college in Los Angeles County. Students must have completed at least one semester of college by June 1, 2018, or will complete their undergraduate degree between May 1 – September 1, 2018 in order to participate. Students must be able to legally work in the United States.
