Glendale Arts is a nonprofit performing arts organization that manages the historic Alex Theatre and community events such as Taste Walk Glendale and the Open Arts & Music Festival. Our mission is to grow the cultural identity of Glendale through the arts and contribute to a vibrant place to live, work, and play. Glendale Arts currently employs 16 full-time and up to 50 part-time staff members who are employed as stage technicians, house managers, custodians, security guards, box office ticket agents and administrative staff. In addition, over 100 volunteers provide thousands of hours of service each year in support of the Alex Theatre’s programs and activities.

College Student Internship Opportunities 2020
The Internship runs from date of hire until 400 hours are completed or March 31, 2021 whichever comes first. Glendale Arts understands that the interns education is a priority, and so while in school, intern may work reduced hours with a minimum of 15 hours per week (an up to 40 hours) and based on the approval of supervisor.
