Glendale Arts is a nonprofit performing arts organization that manages the historic Alex Theatre and community events such as Taste Walk Glendale and the Open Arts & Music Festival. Our mission is to grow the cultural identity of Glendale through the arts and contribute to a vibrant place to live, work, and play. Glendale Arts currently employs 16 full-time and up to 50 part-time staff members who are employed as stage technicians, house managers, custodians, security guards, box office ticket agents and administrative staff. In addition, over 100 volunteers provide thousands of hours of service each year in support of the Alex Theatre’s programs and activities.

Resume Policy

Internships

Glendale Arts is looking for enthusiastic and qualified interns to join our team this summer. The Fundraising and Marketing internships are paid positions that allow interns the opportunity to gain experience working in various departments at Glendale Arts and the Alex Theatre during a unique, evolving time in the non-profit and arts and entertainment industries. Internships are made possible by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors through the Los Angeles County Department of Arts and Culture.
