Proceeds from The Illuminate Dinner support the preservation of the Alex Theatre’s iconic marquee, spire, and starburst.

ABOUT THE ILLUMINATE FUND
Glendale Arts, the Alex Theatre’s management company, hosts the annual dinner to raise funds for the preservation of the Alex Theatre’s marquee, tower, and starburst. This year’s goal is to repair the starburst by the Alex Theatre’s 95th Birthday on September 4, 2020. Attending The Illuminate Dinner is one way to contribute to the $35,000 needed to complete the project. Every dollar raised helps to ensure the tower and spire will continue to illuminate Downtown Glendale for generations to come and continue the long tradition of honoring the past and presenting the future.
In 2015, Glendale Arts created the Illuminate Fund for the repair, maintenance, and preservation of the Alex Theatre’s marquee, tower, and starburst. More than $100,000 has been raised to date so the Theatre’s iconic structure can be protected for future generations. The Alex Theatre is powered by Glendale Arts. Glendale Arts is powered by YOU.
