with The Washington Ballet principal Ashley Murphy as the Sugar Plum Fairy and International Guest Star Brooklyn Mack as the Sugar Plum Fairy’s Cavalier.

Welcome to the enchanting world of The Nutcracker where a magic Christmas tree grows taller and taller and our young heroine vanquishes the Mouse King to save her beloved Nutcracker. Transported through swirling snowflakes and waltzing flowers, Clara and her Nutcracker Prince travel to The Land of Sweets where Russian, Chinese, Spanish and Arabian dancers, along with Mother Ginger and her children, present them with gifts. International Guest Artist Brooklyn Mack, formerly a principal with The Washington Ballet, now guests with The Royal Ballet (London), the Bolshoi Ballet (Moscow) and other ballet companies of world renown. Mack dazzles with his ‘explosive leaps, incredible precision…and onstage charisma’ (NPR).
