The Illuminate Dinner to benefit the Alex Theatre

Join Glendale Arts and the Alex Theatre at the table for a culinary journey with proceeds benefiting the Alex Theatre’s Art Deco tower and marquee.*

In the spirit of charitable generosity, we hope that every guest will donate a special bottle of wine for the silent auction taking place the night of the Illuminate Dinner. Wine donations for the silent auction will also be accepted if you are not able to attend the event.
An auction donation form will be available for you to fill out when you deliver the wine donation so that you will be able to get your tax deduction.

*Glendale Arts is a non profit organization that manages the Alex Theatre. The Illuminate Fund was created in 2015 in answer to the community’s call to restore and repair the Alex Theatre’s Art Deco neon tower. During Alex90, the Theatre’s yearlong celebration of its 90th birthday, $75,000 was raised to completely refurbish the spire and starburst that adorn the Theatre’s entrance. On September 4, 2015, more than 300 people looked on as the beacon of light was ceremoniously “re-lit”. The Illuminate Fund specifically supports ongoing maintenance and repair of the spire, starburst, and marquee of the Alex Theatre.
