Adventures in Music with Bei Ru

For the very first time, producer/musician Bei Ru will share some of his favorite rare and obscure Armenian records from the 1960s-1980s. Bei Ru will be playing and discussing Armenian records from all over the globe, handpicked from his personal collection, along with stories about his record digging adventures. Join us for this special event in an intimate setting for one night only.
BEI RU (Baruir Panossian) is a multi-genre music producer, composer, and artist based in Los Angeles. He came to prominence in 2010 after independently releasing his debut album, Little Armenia, which combined elements from vintage and obscure Armenian songs with electronic, funk, and hip-hop influences. Bei Ru went on to release two more albums, Saturday Night At The Magic Lamp, and LA ZOOO, and is currently working on a new project set for release in late 2018. In addition to his own work, Bei Ru has scored music for numerous films, including the VICE Films release, A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night (produced by Elijah Wood), I Promised Her Life, and several others.
