Alex Theatre Wishing Wall
Join the Alex Theatre in building a monument of hope for the Glendale community by making a wish and tying it to the Wishing Wall on the Alex Theatre’s gates. Inspired by Yoko Ono’s Wish Tree, we at Glendale Arts want to provide a place where hope can thrive.
Join Glendale Arts
from December 7, 2020 through January 8, 2021 in building a monument of hope: one wish at a time.
It’s as simple as writing your personal and private wish on a special piece of paper, and tying it to the gates of the Alex Theatre.
Adding your wish to the Alex Theatre Wishing Wall is simple:
You can make your wish in person or submit your wish online:
Make a wish
Visit the Alex Theatre
Take a tag and write your wish or submit your wish online and we’ll hang it for you
Tie it to the gate
Ask a friend to do the same
Keep wishing until the gates are covered with wishes

To do our part in protecting the planet and reducing waste, we will create a recycled collective paper to symbolize the power of our community.

Once you have made your wish, please consider making a donation in support of Glendale Arts, the nonprofit organization that operates the Alex Theatre.
While new and creative ways are developed to meet current challenges and discover possibilities, your donation ensures the Theatre’s financial stability and maximizes our ability to provide meaningful work to the community. Your gift makes us optimistic that the arts will continue to fuel hope.
