Glendale High School Art Show

May 25, 2018 @ 3:30 pm - 10:00 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every day that begins at 3:30 pm, repeating until June 3, 2018

Art students at Glendale High School have partnered with the Community Services and Parks Department and the community to mount an end-of-year exhibition of their work in the historic Richfield Gas Station located in the Adams Square mini-park.  The Adams Hill Neighborhood Association is hosting a reception for the artists, their guests and the community on Friday, May 25 at 3:30 pm.

The exhibition, representing the works of 35 students, includes 26 sculptures, 3 paintings and 5 ceramic works.  The exhibition was produced under the aegis of art instructor Soseh Khacturian in cooperation with art instructors Jasmin Shiroyan and Nicoleta Soris-Masouris.

The exhibition was mounted very spontaneously with the assistance of Community Services and Parks and includes works chosen by the students and their instructors.  There is no overarching theme or style of work; the exhibit represents the latest works created by the students and explores various approaches and subject matter.

The artwork will be on view through June 3.
