Crowell Public Library Presents Making Space, Clutter Free

June 22, 2019 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Free!

If you’ve been profusely thanking various household items and still can’t let them go, it may be the issue is deeper than you think. While KonMari works for some, it doesn’t approach how to declutter when you suffer from one of the seven emotional clutter blocks explained in a new book, Making Space, Clutter Free, by Tracy McCubbin Tracey’s insight on the emotional reasons Americans can’t clean up their acts for good are just what they need to stop sweeping the emotional mess under the rug.

On Saturday, June 22, Tracey will return for the fourth time to Crowell Public Library where patrons have experienced quite an emotional wallop as she navigates the through the reasons behind the clutter. Dubbed by The Toronto Sun, the “high-profile clutter exorcist,” and “clutter whisperer,” Tracy will reveal how to crack the code to less clutter for each personality type: think Myers-Briggs test for for your closet. Tracey translates what your mess has to say about you and what you need in your life right now. Once you’ve purged your clutter, a new system needs to take over to make sure the clutter doesn’t reappear six months later. Tracy will share her tools of the trade and reveal secrets to keeping the clutter to a minimum year round.

For over ten years and through thousands of clients, dClutterfly, Tracy’s company, has been Los Angeles’ premier organizing and decluttering business. Tracy is a regular featured expert on Hallmark’s Home & Family, has a column on MindBodyGreen, and has regular declutter segments on Fox 5 and ABC Eyewitness News, KTLA Morning Show, KCAL9, and Good Day Sacramento. She and her company have also been featured in Real Simple, Women’s Day and ShopSmart.

When not decluttering, she is the proud Co-Executive Director of OneKind OneWorld, a non-profit building strong educational foundations for children in impoverished communities throughout Kenya and Central America. Tracy lives in Los Angeles and knows where her keys are.
